I work as a file clerk at Acadia Parish Alternative School, where I am committed to advancing my professional skills and knowledge. I am pursuing a master's in strategic and digital communication at Drexel University, reflecting my dedication to continuous learning and professional growth. In addition to my graduate studies, I hold a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations and a Social Media Marketing Certification from Hootsuite Academy. My academic background includes a bachelor's degree in finance from McNeese State University.

Professional Journey

My career has been shaped by my passion for public relations and a desire to make a meaningful impact. I have held a variety of roles, each contributing to my diverse professional experience. These include a secretary at McNeese State University's Career Services Center, a file clerk in an accounting office, and an insurance agent and financial representative specializing in annuities, accidents, and life and health with Northwestern Mutual and Physician Mutual. These experiences have provided me with unique perspectives and skills that I now apply in my work within the Acadia Parish education system.

Over the years, I've honed my rapport-building abilities, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills. I've also become proficient in a range of programs, including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva, enhancing my technical capabilities.

Personal Interests

Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I am a lifelong Boston Celtics fan who knows a winning team when I see one both on the court and in the workplace! I love music and believe it is a universal connector. My favorite artist is Tupac Shakur. I enjoy spending time with my family and cooking for them. I love to watch documentaries on the history of ancient civilizations.
